Welcome to Brown Healthcare 2.0

Welcome to Brown Healthcare 2.0! While our website looks the same, we have taken advantage of the need for greater security to move to a new platform. A more secure shopping environment is a necessity and as banks and credit card processors upgrade their platforms we are now better positioned to match them toe to toe. Your user names and passwords have all been moved over to the new platform and, while we’ve never had access to your passwords – and still don’t, you can change them as needed.

Our new platform offers us the opportunity to add features. One of them is that the Saver Blog is now integrated with the Brown Healthcare website instead of needing to be a separate website. We will continue to use the blog to bring you updated news and information as needed.

Our links have all been checked and updated. There is a new, easier-to-find link to the video series we did years ago on the features of each HipSaver model as well as FAQs in short, digestible videos. You can find that under our Resources link in the header bar. If you haven’t yet signed up for our newsletter, you can do that from the homepage. Each month we feature a different product from Brown Healthcare along with other newsworthy information.

Spring is on the horizon but there’s still plenty of winter ahead so make sure your hips are protected with HipSaver Hip Protectors and get out there and enjoy each day!

About the Author: Karen Brown

With a background in sales and business management, Karen launched a business that distributed aids for daily living in 1998. Brown Healthcare, evolved with a primary focus on fall and injury prevention as the exclusive Canadian distributor of HipSaver Hip Protectors. Hearing stories of families struggling to find information led to the creation of The Oldish, a news and information website publishing daily articles focused on aging. Weekly Facebook Live programs have highlighted issues of interest since 2018. The needs of our followers led to a realization that nearly 50% of our population - more including their caregivers - does or will have challenges that could be better supported in residential environments. Real Life Renos was created to address the need more globally, educating homeowners and builder/renovators about available options. A video series and podcast team up to look at residential solutions and take deeper dives into thinking differently about our homes and bringing forward solutions that elevate safety, independence and dignity.
